Self Help

I've been out of serious training (3-5 swims a week is serious for me!) for almost a year. In practice, we don't focus enough on drills or cardio endurance...at least for my tastes and for my desire to get some water-feel back. So, I've been swimming on my own. The pool was closed for cleaning, but now I'm back to it. I'll hit up practice on Thursday. We do more speed work and short distance on the team (faster 50's with lots of rest), and it's better to work that skill with other people.

Warm up:
400 swim, 200 kick all choice

8 x 50 mod on 1:00 IM order stroke down/ 25 free coming back

50 kick

1,000 free starting moderate and building towards the end.

100 kick ez
200 flutter kick hard/ez by 25

200 each: back, breast, fly - 25 drill/ 25 swim by 25, 30 seconds rest inbetween each 200

100 ez
