Dessert, part 2

Fried banana with coconut ice cream.  500 yen. Hands down, the best part of the whole meal was the ice cream!  The coconut flavor was so vibrant and fresh!  I poured some of the liquid part over the steamed banana cake and it was brilliant.  Fried banana was tasty but plain. I would have liked some powdered sugar and spices over the top, or a dollop of chocolate.

Overall, a VERY good value for lunch.  You can share all the dishes and still get plenty full.  This was supposed to be an Iron Chef restaurant, so I was expecting a little but more creativity.  It was a solid place, but not as profound as I was looking for.  

Dinner seems much more expensive.  

Exit from Shinjuku station West or Central West Exit.  Walk around to Lumine 1 and take the elevator to the 7th floor.  Vietnam Alice is just down the hall.
